By writing a book, you indulge in a self enriching activity.

What makes a teacher great and what is the Objective of Teacher who is great?
  • A teacher should first become a good friend to his students and create a rapport in such a manner that a student can openly share his or her problems without the slightest hitch. A great teacher creates such a comfort zone that every student is very easily able to open himself up in front of the teacher.
  • The camaraderie should be there but, a teacher should also be able to guide his students to maintain decorum. A certain distance between a teacher and a student always reminds the student of the gap between him and the teacher in terms of age, experience, maturity and knowledge.
  • A teacher should strive hard to make his students independent so that they can take independent decisions without making mistakes and even if they do, they should be able to correct them immediately.
There are many students who wish to narrate their life-experiences with their favourite teachers in the form of a book. So if you are one such student, the following points will surely give you a momentum on how to write a book.
  • First choose a topic to write on and make yourself comfortable with the topic. The more research you will do on that topic, the friendlier you’ll become. Don’t hesitate in discussing the topic with people who have authority on the subject.
  • Just like an artist makes a sketch you can write a book. After having made yourself familiar with the topic and its various nuances, write whatsoever comes to your mind. What you are doing right now, is creating a rough draft which will help you put down all the ideas in one place. Once this is done, you can elaborate upon all these ideas gradually.
  • Devote a fixed amount of time to write, say, 2-3 hours a day, depending on what your priorities are. Set a target of writing a set number of words in a day and write at a place where there is absolutely no one to disturb you, a computer-room preferably.
